Mangaluru: “As a part of BJP’s campaign ‘Tiranga Yathra’, Amit Shah will visit Mangaluru on August 21 and take part in various programmes,” said district President of BJP Sanjeev Matandoor.
Speaking to the reporters at BJP office, he said that Amit Shah will inaugurate a bike rally which is organised by north and south units of Bjp yuva Morcha.
“To commemorate the sacrifice of freedom fighters, Amit Shah will garland the statue of Abbakka Rani, at Ullal. Thereafter in a programme at Konaje, he will address the gathering, in which BJP state President B S Yeddyurappa and Union Minister Sadananda Gowda will join him,” he said.
“To stir up the patriotism in citizen mind, on the direction of Narendra Modi, district BJP will hold ‘Tiranga Yathra’ and the campaign will run from August 9 to August 23. On August 15, Indian flag will be hoisted at district BJP office. At around 3 pm Union Minister Rajiv Rudy Pratap will join us in the celebration of Independence Day which will be held at t v Ramana Pai hall.
