Kasargod: K Jeevan Babu took charge as the new deputy commissioner of Kasargod district, on Wednesday.

Outgoing DC E Devadasan, Additional Judge M k Ambujakshan, ADC H Dineshan, Dr P K Jayashree, N Devdas and others welcomed new DC.

Hailing from Thodupoya, Kerala Jeevan Babu served in Indian Revenue Department in 2009; in 2010 he served as IPS officer in West Bengal. He completed his IAS examinations in 2011 and served as ADC of Trisshur, Kanhangad and also as the assistant commissioner of election committee.
