Bengaluru: A farmer has committed suicide after mentioning DG, IGP Om Prakash’s son Karthikesh’s name, on Monday.

It is reported that Karthikesh has harassed the farmer in relation with property issue.

Shivanna of Magadi is the deceased person. He consumed poison to commit suicide. Before taking this extreme step he has alleged that his brother Lokesh and he had one property related issues and Karthikesh was running a stone quarry in Lokesh’s land. Karthikesh was preventing Lokesh in the property case.

He has also alleged the harassment of several police officers also.

Commenting on it DG, IGP Om Prakash has said that Karthikesh is in abroad since past 15 days. “I haven’t discussed anything regarding this matter with him. Further details can be expected from Ramanagara SP,” he said.
