Mangaluru: For the significant achievement in the field of safety and security in banking sector, Karnataka Bank has bagged national level “Greentech Safety Award – 2016”. Greentech Foundation presented the award.

P Jayaram Bhat MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank received the trophy and certificate from Kamaleshwar Saran, Chairman andCEO of Greentech Foundation. R K Dubey, Chief Advisor and Conference Chairman and former CMD of Canara Bank, was present along with Kamaleshwar.

Chief General Manager, Mahabaleshwara M S, Muralidhar Krishna Rao, Deputy General Manager, Treasury and Accounts Dept K S Ponnappa and others were present from Karnataka Bank.

On the occasion, Sri Mahabaleshwara M S, Chief General Manager, Sri Muralidhar Krishna Rao, Deputy General Manager, Treasury & Accounts Dept & Sri. KS Ponnappa, Chief Security Officers were present from the Bank.

After receiving the award MD and CEO of Karnataka Bank Jayaram Bhat said that this ward inspires to improve the workplace safety across industries. “Our bank has given top priority for the safety ot its customers and employees and also of the public,” he said.
