Mangaluru: Water supplying pipeline to Mangaluru from Tumbe has been broken and water supply has been come to halt. 18 MGD pipeline broken down on Thursday and 75% areas are affected by this.

MCC Commissioner has said that the repair work is going on and water supply for next two days will be affected by this.

Due to the excess pressure inside the pipe, cracks were seen on the pipe and it broken down at Adyar. As soon as the information reached the pump house, water pumping was stopped.

Mayor Harinath and his team visited the spot and discussed with the engineer regarding the issue.
