Bantwal: Bantwal Circle Inspector and his team have seized two trucks, in which sand was being transported illegally, on Friday morning at Mani, Kalladka.

Two trucks were plying towards Mangaluru to Puttur on highway. Police was checking all the vehicles at Mani, and they stopped these two trucks also. When police checked the trucks, illegal sand transporting came to light.

Trucks has been handed over to mining department.
