Mangaluru: “People of Dakshina Kannada never supported violence. Some evil forces are trying to destroy the communal harmony in the district,” said Rajhya Sabha Member and AICC General Secretary B K Hariprasad.

Addressing the media personnel at District Congress Office on Sunday, he said that to rebuild the culture and harmony of the districts all should fight against such evil forces.

“Congress party workers should put their extra effort to stop these forces. 240 districts in India are affected by naxalism and 90 are affected by communal violence. We need to stop this. The forces which are playing with the religious emotions of the people are creating confusion among the people. Political gain is the motto of these forces,” he said.

Further commenting on Sangha Parivar he said that Sangha Parivar people are pseudo nationalists and they were supporting British by wearing Khaki and holding sticks in hand. People should be aware of these pseudo nationalists.

“Mahatma Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi sacrificed their lives for this country. There is no one in Hindu Mahasabha or in RSS who can claim that they had taken participation in freedom fights. PM Modi says that Congress has done nothing in past 70 years. But he don’t know that Congress didn’t let the country to broke into two pieces in the name of religion,” he added.

Further he said that if right winged organisations want Ramya to go to Pakistan for her comment, then let them send L K Advani to Pakistan who had said that Mohammad Ali Jinnah was a secular leader.

Later speaking about cow vigilantes he said that some of the cow vigilantes are cow protectors during day time and same people are cow eaters during night time.
