Mangaluru: The Mangaluru police arrested a man for his involvement in posting derogatory remarks on Facebook against Kateelu Temple Goddess.

The accused is said to be from Chikkamagaluru; the police are yet to reveal his identity. On questioning, the police managed to get details about the prime accused in the case; they are said to be employed in various countries in the Persian Gulf. They are said to be using the arrested person as a middleman for posting the derogatory remarks.

It is said that the miscreants create a fake Facebook account and deactivate it after two days. It is also alleged that they have created groups on WhatsApp and Facebook and have been exchanging information.
