Mangaluru: “As per the government orders on September 16, Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jayanti will be celebrated throughout Dakshina Kannada,” said former union minister Janardhana Poojary.

Addressing the press conference at Kudroli temple premises on Wednesday, he said that district administration, ZP, Kannada and culture department and Kudroli Gokarnanatheshwara temple administration will jointly celebrate the Brahmashree Narayana Guru Jayanti on September 16 at 10 am.

“The celebration will be held at Shree Gokarnanatheshwara temple hall. A procession will be taken out from Ladyhill circle to the temple,” he informed.

He further said that after 11 am various intercollegiate competitions will be held by Gokarnanatheshwara College.
