Udupi: As the new President of Udupi Vishwa Hindu Parishath (VHP) entrepreneur and MD of Hanuman group of Concerns Chitpadi, Udupi, Pangala Vilas Nayak has been chosen, on Friday.

As the post was vacated since a long time, it was decided to fill the post in the VHP and Bhajarang Dal district meeting. Announcement of the post done by prof M B Puranik.

Previously Vilas Nayak has served as the Udupi BJP Yuva Morcha president also. During his tenure as a yuva morcha president he was well known for organising innovative programmes.

Zonal Secretary Krishnamurthy, Zonal Convenor Sharan Pumpwell, Sunil K R, Dinesh Mendon and others were present.
