Mangaluru: Shrikanth Rao has taken charge as the new Commissioner of Mangaluru Urban development Authority (MUDA).

After taking over the charge he said that for the development of the city quick actions will be taken after discussing with the officials.

“I have instructed the MUDA office staffs not to harass the common people, who come here for any work,” he said.

Previously he has served as Madikeri and Udupi city corporation commissioner and MCC joint commissioner. He has carried out many projects in a quick time during his tenure as MCC joint commissioner.

MUDA commissioner post was vacant after the transfer of previous commissioner Muhammad Nazeer as the MCC Commissioner.
