Kundapur: A vehicle at Koteshwara was waylaid by the Pro-Hindu organizations alleging illegal cattle transport, on Wednesday. Three suspects were handed over to the police along with a cow and vehicle.

Laxman Moghaveera (55) of Kalavara, Mohammad Rafique (54) of Kodi and K Hameed (56) of Kalavara are the arrested persons.

Upon receiving information about the illegal cattle trafficking from Kalavara to Kodi, Pro-Hindu organization stopped the vehicle at Koteshwara. A message was immediately sent to Kundapur police station. It is said that the cow was being brought to a slaughter house at Kodi.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
