Mangaluru: “Boycotting all party meeting by the BJP members is the saddest thing. We should have stand united to face Cauvery dispute. It is an unfortunate development that BJP was not a part of the meeting,” said food and civil supplies Minister U T Khader.
Addressing the press reporters on Thursday at Circuit House, he said that BJP MLA’s and MP’s are not interested in solving public’s issue. That is why; they haven’t taken part in the meeting.
“An emergency assembly session has been called to discuss the matter. Discussions will be made on what could be done in the future,” he said.
Later, commenting on the distribution of Iodised salt, he said that distribution of iodised salt will be began from the first week of January.
“Coupon of ration items can be got through the phone which is linked with Aadhar number. Those who don’t have Aadhar number can avail this facility by the bio-metric procedures,” he added.
Mangaluru TP President Muhammad Monu, Bantwal TP President Chandrahasa Karkera and others were present.
