Mangaluru: An absconded attempt to murder accused was nabbed by the Mangaluru CCB police personnel on Thursday.

K Abdul Basheer (42) of Mijar Yedapadav is the arrested person. The murder attempt was made in July.

Dharmendra and Devu were attacked brutally by Basheer and his gang of 15 members in July. Basheer had attacked them using iron rod, nails and wooden plank. They had also used abusive words against Dharmendra and Devu.

Bajpe police had registered a case.

After the arrest Basheer was presented before the court and the court have ordered for the judicial custody for 15 days.

CCB Inspector Sunil Y Naik, PSI Shamsundar and others were present in CCB team.
