Udupi: Celebrations for the Indian army’s reply to Pakistan through surgical strike for the Uri terror attack, was held by district BJP Yuva Morcha, Bhajarang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishath. Gathered people shouted slogans hailing Indian army and praised the braveness of soldiers.

Celebrations were held at Clock Tower and celebrated by bursting the crackers.

Addressing the gathering BJP district President Mattaru Rathnakar Hegde appreciated the plan of Prime Minister Modi and Indian army for successfully launching it.

“Modi government doesn’t speak much, but it works more. Modi has succeeded in defending our borders. Modi has proved that success lays in work not in words,” he said.

Dinkar Babu, Sheela K Shetty, Prabhakar Poojary, Akshit Shetty Herga, Yashpal Suvarna, VHP and BD activists and others were present.
