Kundapur: Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple CEO S Yogeshwar inaugurated the Navaratri celebrations at temple on Saturday.

A team led by priest Ramachandra Adiga performed the special rituals on Saturday morning.

The celebrations will continue till October 11 and various rituals are to be performed with fervour. Devotees are provided all the facilities along with stay for the celebrations. On October 10 ‘Chandika Yaga’ and Car festival will be celebrated o the occasion of Mahanavami.

On October 11 many people from all over the country visit Kollur temple and start their children’s educational carrier by writing ‘Omkara’ on rice grain and by writing it on children’s tongue using golden ring.
