Mangaluru: “Kemaru Sandipani Math Sri Esha Vittaldas Swamiji and former head of, chair in Christianity, Mangalore University Fr John Fernandes will be conferred with Sadhbavana samman awards, during the valedictory ceremony of ‘peace and humanity campaign at Town Hall on October 7,” said Dr Satyanarayana Mallipatna Honorary President of welcoming committee of Peace and Humanity, a national campaign.

Addressing the press meet on Wednesday, he said that on the occasion awards distribution to the winners of short movie competition will be held. First prize winner will be awarded with Rs 15,000 and second prize will have Rs 10,000 and top five will be receiving Rs 1000 each.

“A student convention on ‘My country my role’ will be held and it will be presided over Krupa Maria Rasquinha of Jerosa High School,” he said.

He further said that prizes of the allocation competition will be distributed on the occasion.

“Eminent writer Erya Lakshmi Narayan Alva and Unity Academy President Dr C P Habeeb Rehman will be present during the Sadhbhavan Samman award ceremony,” he added.

Prasad Rai Kallimar, Mohammad Kunhi, Raymond D’Cunha and others were present.
