Mangaluru: “Most of the cases which are registering in the court are due to the mental disturbance, so treatment of such people should be done,” said district magistrate court Judge C M Joshi.
He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the World Mental Health Day at RAPCC conference hall organised by district administration, ZP, district legal authorities, health and family welfare department, city and district police department, bar association, information and broadcasting department and Wenlock hospital on Friday.
A J Hospital psychiatry department Chief Dr Ravees Tunga was the resource person.
Senior civil judge Mallangowda, district health officer Dr Ramakrishna Rao, bar association President S P Chengappa, Mangaluru ACP Uday Nayak and others were present.
