Udupi: Praveen Poojary’s mother held Hindu organisations responsible for the murder of her son who was hacked to death by a gang for allegedly tracking the cattle illegally.

She was speaking to the members of ‘Udupi Chalo Jatha’, who came from Bengaluru and met her on Saturday.

“My son was murdered by some Hindu organisation people in the name of cows. He never did anything wrong. His vehicle was hired by someone on that day. Praveen had begged the attackers that he has no link with the cows and his vehicle was hired. But the inhuman attackers didn’t listen to his voice and killed him. This is unbearable,” she said.

She further said that here the life of a cow is more precious than a human’s life. Praveen’s marriage was to be planned shortly. He was an independent bread winner and he never created problems to anyone.

Chalo Udupi team members ensured her to provide justice to her as they have come across such attacks throughout India.
