Kundapur: “Indian culture is one of the greatest cultures in the world, but now we have converreted it into apartment culture. We should save our culture. Long time ago some westerners tried to implement divide and rule method to destroy our culture,” said Prof B M Hegde.

After receiving the Dr Shivarama Karantha Hometown Award in a programme organized by Kotathattu GP, Dr Karantha Hometown Award Foundation, Kota Karanth Theme Park and Dr Shivaram Karanth Trust Udupi, on Tuesday, he said that there is a power beyond science and it is the inspiration behind all the inventions.

“Whatever we have achieved that is just because of the brilliancy of our ancestors. We cannot find god in Vedas.” He added.

Karath Foundation Managing Trustee, Kota Shrinivas Poojary said “we are celebrating Karanth’s 113 birth anniversary and KOtathattu GP has copmpleted 23 years. Moreover, hometown Karanth award foundation has also completed 13 years,” he said.
