Mangaluru: As per a survey conducted by Airports Authority of India, Mangaluru International Airport has received 4.72 on a scale of 5 with regard to customer satisfaction.
Airports Authority of India conducts the Customer Satisfaction Survey through an external agency at 52 Airports owned by AAI and Mangaluru International Airport is one of the Airports under this group.
The survey is held every six months and takes into account staff performance, facilities, cleanliness, infrastructure and airline/Customs/ Immigration/ Airport/ Security staff performance and so on with respect to passengers.
This was the second round of the Customer Satisfaction Survey (July-December) 2016 and as per the rating, Mangaluru International Airport stands at the third place at an All India Level.
Chandigarh Airport stands first with a rating of 4.86 followed by Raipur with 4.82 and Mangaluru International Airport and Udaipur are in the third position. Thus Mangaluru International Airport stands first among the airports of the Southern region.
