Belthangady: Dharmasthala police have seized a car and rescued four cattle which were being illegally transported, on Wednesday at Charmadi check post.

Cattle were being transported from Chikkamagaluru to Benlthangady in a Renault Duster car. Police had the information of illegal cattle trafficking, so they stopped the car near Charmadi check post.

Driver and other people escaped from the place and police have seized four cattleand the car.
