Bantwal: The inauguration ceremony of the Bantwal Buntara Sabha Bhavana was flagged off by Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, on Saturday at B C Road circle.

Nalin Kumar Kateel along with district in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai flagged off the grand procession of which begun at B C Road and the procession ended at the newly built and highly furnished community hall at Valavoor, Tumbe.

Inuagural programmes will be conducted till October 31 and the inauguration of the hall will be done by Dharmasthala Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Hindi and Kannada film industry stars will be attending the occasion.

The hall was built at the cost of Rs 15 crore and it is the only hall with highest space and best quality in Kasargod, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.

During the flagging off ceremony Bunts Association President Vivek Shetty Narigutthu, Working President Rajesh Naik Ulippadygutthu, Lokanath Shetty, Shashiraj Shetty, Kiran Hegde and others were present.
