Mangaluru: Local people of Manjanadi and Montugoli staged protest and observed bundh against the serial attacks in Ullal and Konaje police station limits, on Tuesday.

Local people staged bundh voluntarily and the buses weren’t functioned as usual. Locals have urged to arrest the accused soon.

Protestors didn’t allow opening the GramaPanchayat office also. Police who arrived at the place failed to convince the protestors and thus the bundh continued all the day.

The protest was erupted after a student named Razik was stabbed by miscreants on Monday evening. Condemning the attack on student as well as the previous attacks in the surrounding area local people had staged the protest.

Schools were declared holiday and the bus transportation were paralysed in the area. Note exchange centre was closed which caused problems to the local people also.
