Mangaluru: Staff at the Mangaluru district jail seized 500 grams ganja from an under trial on Saturday.

Satish from Belthangady was arrested on charges of theft. He was taken to a court in Belthangady and as he was being brought back to the jail, the staff checked and found ganja in his possession. Sources say that somebody from his gang might have handed over the ganja to him when he was in court.

Satish was handed over to the Barke police and a case was registered.
