Udupi: Kapu Yogesh V Shetty has been chosen as the new chief of district JD(S).

In a state level meeting held at Bengaluru Palace Ground JD(S) state President H D Kumara Swamy announced Yogesh Shetty’s name as the new president of Udupi district JD(S).

Kapu Yogesh Shetty has been serving in JD(S) since past 22 years. He has effectively managed many designations in the party. He also served as Lion Club President, All college student union president.

After former president Belapu Deviprasad Shetty joined Congress, Dakshat Shetty was chosen as the president for the last year.
