Kasargod: Vishwa Tuluvere Aayano 2016 concluded on Tuesday with the resolution to unite for the formation of Tulunadu as well as for the inclusion of Tulu in the 8th schedule of Indian Constitution.
It is also decided to fight against the Yettinahole project and to force the government to withdraw the project.
In his closing address Uday Kumar Dharmasthala said that organised efforts will continue to protect the unity of Tulunadu.
“Though Dakshina Kannada, Kasargod, Kundapur are diverse in social aspects it is united interms of politics and religiously. So there is a need to bring goodwill among the Tuluvas and for that we need to seek for support from Kerala and Karnataka government,” he said.
Many people were felicitated for their valuable contribution to various sectors of the society.
Vishwa Tuluvere Aayano President Sarvotham Shetty, Deputy Commissioner Jeevan Babu, lawyer Subbayya Rai, Convener Dr Rajesh Alva and others were present.
