Mangaluru: “To make Mangaluru as a green city government sponsored parks will be constructed in each ward,” said MLA Mohiudhin Bava.

He was speaking after laying foundation stone for park and play ground at 5.15 acres of land near Kallakanda, Kodikal on Sunday.

“Already the construction work of park, pool has been culminated at Hosabettu, Katipalla, Surathkal and other places. Even in other wards also parks will be constructed for public’s convenience. Rs 1 crore special fund has been sanctioned for Kallakanda and the construction work will end within six months,” he said.

Mayor Harinath, Shashidhar Hegde, MUDA Member Keshav Sunil, MCC member Harish Shetty, Mamatha Shetty and others were present.
