Mangaluru: Press Club Day was celebrated by Mangaluru Press Club, Pathrika Bhavana Trust and DK Working Journalists Union on Sunday at Scouts and Guides Bhavan, Lalbhag.

Press Club Award was presented by district in-charge Minister Ramanath Rai to four achievers for their valuable service to the field of education. Renita Lobo and Shamitha ofMother Teresa PU College, Kundapur and Sameera and Fouziya of Kadaba AIMS College were awarded Press Club Award.

Yakshagana performance was organised by the Press Club members under the guidance of veteran Yakshagana artists during the occasion.

MLA Mohiudhin Bava, district Information Officer Khader Shah, Pathrika Bhavan President Ananda Shetty, DK WJU President Jagannath Shetty Bala and others were present.
