There are many problems other than this, let the government to solve them first. A marital relationship will not be broken with triple talaq. There are misconceptions about talaq. Even women also have a law called ‘Khala’ to divorce her husband,” she said.
She further said that the constitution has given right to practice our own religion. Uniform civil code will pose threat to public. Everyone should follow the path of shariyat.
Member of Jamath-E-Islami-Hind women wing Sabeeha Fathima said that there are rumours that shariyat is against to Indian constitution. There is no relationship between civil code and harmony. There must a clear vision to form uniform civil code, but the present reports are full of lies. Imposing uniform civil code is impossible.
