Mangalore: In a Press Conference held by BJP Yuva Morcha DK Chief Kishore Kumar Puttur and his General Secretary Rajesh Shetty Pajeerguthu today at the JJ Soudha in the city, it was disclosed that a national Unity walk had been organised from Delhi on 12th this month, led by National Youth President, Anurag Thakur, to emphasise national indivisibility and supremacy in a strong way.
Several youth activists will join this march from many states and on Republic Day, the Yuva Morcha members all over India will gather at Lal Chowk in Kashmir, to hoisst the national flag (Jan26) there.
It is observed that in last 6 months, the law and order situation in Kashmir has broken down. Separatists are trying to put hurdles on the Unity of Indian political entity, with J&K CM himself is encouraging them with his own voice. A strong action and firm policy are needed from the Centre as well as the northernmost state to curb the separatist tendencies in the name of Islam or Muslim majority, aided by terrorism.
The Union Govt. and state leaders of Kashmir are directly responsible for the total disharmony and indiscipline we see in Kashmir, the speakers at the press meet explained.
They warned that a soft policy in Kashmir by the Home Minister who ought to know what disastrous effects are prevailing in Muslim parts of Kashmir.
About 150 youths from DK district (15 activists from each block) will join the Unity walk along with about 3,000 youngmen from all over Karnataka soon, the speakers informed.
A ‘Kashmir Chalo’ call has been given, and on Jan.20 at 4pm, a programme is drawn up at the local Sangh Niketan to this effect. 2500 youth activists will be present at this preparatory meeting for the March. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will address the gathering.
Apart from Yuva Morcha office-bearers, Y Bharat Shetty, Mahesh and Vasanth, besides others were present in the press meet.
