Mangaluru : District BJP President Sanjeev Matandoor has condemned the attack on APMC defeated BJP candidate Valerian Cutinho.

Addressing the press personnel at district BJP office, he alleged that police have registered FIR aganst Umanath Kotian, Eshwar Kateel, Sujan and Jagadeesh without any reason. Congress party workers are saying that Valerian Cutinho abused them and created obstacle during victory procession.

“Congress party followers are attempting to destabilise BJP in Moodabidiri by taking help of MLA Abhaychandra Jain and police personnel. BJP demands to withdraw the cases filed against the BJP leaders,” he said.

He further said that a protest will be held against Congress at Moodabidiri on January 19 regarding the issue.

Vice-President of district BJP Ravishankar Mijar, Brijesh Chowta and others were present.
