Mangaluru: “Many RSS and Sangha Parivar activists have been attacked and they are being targeted. The state government led by Congress is indirectly responsible for this and it is misusing the police department,” said Chickkamagaluru MLA C T Ravi.
Addressing the press personnel at district BJP office on Wednesday, he said that district in-charge Minister and local MLA are responsible for the attack over defeated APMC BJP candidate. He demanded to withdraw the false cases registered against BJP leaders and to arrest the Congressmen who are responsible for this.
Taking a dig on CM Siddaramaiah for calling police as ‘Nalayak’ he said “133 taluks has been declared drought hit areas and the Congress government is not releasing funds for them. It shows that Congress itself is a Nalayak party.”
“The state government is accusing the Central for not releasing the funds. From 2015-2017 highest amount of relief fund has been released to the state. The funds are not being utilised in a proper way,” he said.
He further said that the DPR of Yettinahole project is not done properly. Reports are saying that 24 TMC water is available when there is only 9.5 TMC water is available. The problems in the project must be solved as soon as possible.
BJP Leaders Yogish Bhat, Sulochana Bhat, Monappa Bhandary and others were present.
