Kasargod: In connection with the murder of BJP party worker Santhosh at Andaloor, Kannur police on Saturday have arrested six persons who were workers of CPI(M) party.

As per the police the accused are aged from 25-31 and they were also belonged to the same place where the victim is from.

It is learnt that the incident was a revenge after some RSS activists had attacked a student who belonged to some student federation. Previously CPI(M) had claimed that there is no involvement of it in the murder of Santhosh, it is purely the result of property dispute.

On January 18 Santhosh was hacked to death by the assailants in his home at Andaloor at around 11.30 pm.
