Mangaluru : For the long pending Akrama Sakrama (Bagar Hukum) applications and issuing ownership documents(title deeds) to be cleared immediately, Tahsildar’s should take necessary steps in issues, said State Revenue Minister Kagodu Thimmappa here.
In a meeting held on Thursday at DC office Kagodu said the DC should make a constant review of the progress and to take action in the event of non-sanction of the title deeds as per the target by the time of his next visit in another two months.
At least 1000 Bagar Hukum applications have to be cleared per month in every taluk and one lakh Bagar Hukum applications have been cleared in the state, still three lakh applications are pending. As many as 25,000 applications are pending in Dakshina Kananda district alone, he added.
Total one lakh applications have been received under Form 94 and 94CC for regularisation of houses constructed on government lands, the title deeds should be distributed to all within six months Kagodu directed to the officials.
He also said that for requierment of the Hindu crematorium and separate crematorium for SC STs the DC can approve immediately.
