Udupi: Udupi City Municipal Council has decided to supply drinking water for every two days for the Udupi city residents following a steep decline in water storage at Baje dam which is the major source of water for Udupi city.
Total 35 wards of the city will be divided into two categories and each category will get water for every two days. The process of drinking water supply for every two days will start from March 23. If there is a shortage in drinking water supply through the pipeline, then each house will get 500 liters of water through tanker supply.
