Mangaluru: India’s coastal city, mangaluru has been ranked 41 in terms of quality of life in a global list by keeping the city at the top in the country. The new rankings have been published for the year 2017, according Numbeo, a collaborative online website .
As far as healthcare facilities are concerned, Mangaluru stands at 12th position in the world by overtaking many developed countries of the globe. World class Medicare facilities, medical colleges might have supported Mangaluru to reach the position. In terms of quality of life, Mangaluru is ranked 41, beating even San Francisco which is ranked 42. The city at the top of the list beating other Indian cities including Pune which is ranked 77 followed by Hyderabad 96, Bengaluru 108, Gurgaon 112, Chennai 128, Delhi 130, Kolkata 138, and Mumbai 139. Overall, India ranks 51 among list of countries.
