Mangaluru : A political motivated promotion made in school note books by Mangalore North MLA B.A. Mohiuddin Bava is a political advantage programme, said, BJP leaders in a protest held near Zilla panchayath near here on Monday, June 13.

Addressing the protestors, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said, that “the books distributed to the totally condemnable. If he had social intention on this programme, why he print himself his photo on note books as a elected representative, he questioned.

Replying Bava’s recent statement, Nalin said, though he had distributed the note book at his own cost, he cannot use his photographs, Prime Minister or President photographs can use. Congress has reached a new low level by playing petty politics in education too, he alleged.

BJP leaders Satyajith Suratkal, Ganesh Hosabettu, Bharath Shetty and others were present.
