Mangalore : Around 250 students of higher primary and high school classes took part in various ‘talent –hunt’ competitions organized by state Beary Academy at the Badriya PU College in city today, in drawing, speaking, story-telling, writing, henna designing, mimicry, debating, stick-play, quiz, skits, memory tests and poems writing and such other subjects on interest to younger generation.
Inaugurating the multi-facial programme, local Block Education officer Dayavathi stated that students should continue to nature their individual studies after they left schools or colleges. Such activity should be allowed to flower all through his or her life of present students, she advised.
Academy chairman M.B. Abdul Rehman presided over the function and related the activities and achievements of Beary Academy.
