Mangaluru: A City Crime Branch (CCB) police team which moved Mumbai as part of its investigation into brutal murder of BC Road based RSS worker has returned to Mangaluru and reportedly obtained crucial information inconnection with the case.

The police suspect that the culprits behind the murder may have hiding in Mumbai as Mumbai based unidentified persons reportedly sent a gang to murder RSS worker Sharath in BC Road last month.

The police team has reportedly gathered key information from Mumbai and Mumbai city police on the murder during its visit to investigate the case. The sources stated that, the information obtained may play a major role to nab the culprits behind the scene.

As many as 5 police teams from Dakshina Kannada district have been investigating the murder case for the last one month and no arrest has been made so far.
