Ullal: In an tragic road accident near Kuttar temple in Ullal on Thursday evening one person died on spot. The deceased has been identified as Valasraj (42) a resident of Payyannur located at Kannur district of Kerala.

The person died after rear tire of a N.S. bus moved on his head however, exact reason which caused the tire to move on his head. The local police still confused as no one has exact information how the accident occurred and no statement of eyewitnesses is recorded yet. The driver of the bus reportedly fled from the spot soon after the accident.

Valasraj has been running a saloon in Thannirbavi in Mangaluru and the incident occurred when he was on his way to his sister’s residence located at Deralakatte near Ullal. The deceased is survived by a daughter.

The dead body of the deceased remained on the road for nearly 30 minutes and the locals alleged that state sponsored 108 ambulance didn’t carry the dead body even if it arrived at the accident spot. Later, an ambulance from a private hospital transported the dead body from the accident spot.
