Mangaluru: BJP national president Amit Shah arrived at Mangaluru International Airport early hours in the morning on October 3.
Amit Shah to attend a padayatra at Payannur in Kerala state on Tuesday.
Shah was scheduled to land at Mangaluru International Airport at 6 pm on Monday October 2, but the flight was delayed by more than seven hours. He arrived at the airport at around 1.15 am by a special flight.
BJP leaders from Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod welcomed the party leader the airport. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former minister Krishna J Palemar, BJP district president Sanjeeva Matandoor, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, S Angara, Mallika Prasad, and Kerala BJP leaders Muralidharan, Krishnadas, Surendran and others were present.
Shah is likely to return to Mangaluru by today evening. He will be attending a party meeting at Ocean Pearl hotel in the presence of state party leaders and office-bearers on October 4. On the same day, at 5pm he will be attending another meet at TMA Pai convention centre.
