Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Police have started a probe after an audio went viral over social media platforms, which claims information regarding ISIS links in BC Road and Mangaluru.

The audio contains a conversation between leaders in the Beary language. The audio described that a group of youth from the district have been associated with the ISIS group. The audio also revealed that the members wear black and brown robes as their group uniform and its members consist of engineering graduates, among others.

However, the DK police have said that they are verifying the authenticity of the audio which is being circulated on social media and will take necessary steps based on the probe report.
