Mangaluru: Konkan Railway in coordination with Central Railway and Western Railway will operate weekly special train on special fare from Ahmedabad to Mangaluru Junction to clear extra rush of passengers during winter and Christmas.

Train 09416 Ahmedabad – Mangaluru Junction (weekly) special on special fare will leave Ahmedabad at 4.15pm on December 22 and 29 and reach Mangaluru Junction at 6.30pm, the next day. Train 09415 Mangaluru Junction – Ahmedabad (weekly) special on special fare will leave Mangaluru Junction at 9.35pm on December 23 and 30 (Saturday) and reach Ahmedabad at 12:30am on Monday.

Train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon junction, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi, Mulki and Suratkal stations.

The composition of the trains is 15 LHB coaches including one two-tier AC coach, seven three-tier AC coaches, five sleeper coaches and two SLR cum generator van coaches.
