Mangaluru: Former Union Minister B Janardhana Poojary broke down, after accusing District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai of abusing him, during a stage programme, at Sri Brahma Baidarkala Garadi Kshethra in Mangaluru on Thursday evening.

He was speaking after releasing ‘Kshethra Parichaya’ book, during the Brahmakalashotsava of Sri Brahma Baidarkala Garadi Kshethra.

Stating that Rai had abused him using derogatory words in front of hundreds of people, he said, “I have not done any harm to Rai,” and broke down.

Meanwhile, reacting to a section of media persons on Friday, Ramanath Rai said that he has high respect for Poojary and did not speak anything against him. “If anyone has any video to prove that I have abused Poojary, please give,” he said.
