Mangaluru: Minister U T Khader on Friday suggested the BJP national president Amit Shah to speak on developmental activities and not to erupt any communal tensions by his statements.
Addressing a press meet here, Khader said, “Amit Shah being the national president is coming here prior to the assembly elections. We request Shah to speak on the developmental activities and not to make any communal remarks.
When questioned on the acquisition of mutts he said, “The CM has clarified and shared the circular regarding this. Congress will not interfere with any religious orders; neither do we have any such plans.
When the Supreme Court had ordered to demolish all religious places and buildings located close to roads, we stood with the people to protect their beliefs and religious places,” he added.
