New Delhi: Karnataka Governor Hans Raj Bharadwaj has at last earned praise from a Congress Minister in UPA, Mukul Wasnick, holding the portfolio of Social Empowerment, who said today that Bhardwaj was doing good work and holding a whip to tame an unruly BJP government in saddle in the South.
Speaking to KPCC leaders and the media people in Bangalore on Monday, Mukul added that Governor Bhardwaj did all his work efficiently as the protector of constitution when it was attacked by rulers. He referred to the consent given by Hans Raj to the Bangalore University proposal to confer an honourary Doctorate degree to Prof.M.Chidananda Murthy, after he heard the views of Kannada people in recent Literary Conference in Bangalore on Sunday, Wasnick said.
He denied that Governor was a puppet of Opposition in the state, as alleged by BJP rulers and in reply to a question put to him by reporters. Mukul advised politicians not to believe in black magic in 21st century, and added that such ugly practices did not do good.
