Mangaluru: Areca Tea, established by researcher Nivedan Nempe has been awarded Best Agriculture Start-up Award by Indian Council of Food and Agriculture (ICFA).
For the different medical benefits areca tea offers, the honour for this start-up, which had prior bagged the Make in India grant comes when gossipy titbits about areca nut being cancer-causing, has left its cultivators stressed.
Association Minister for Commerce and Industries Suresh Prabhu gave over the respect to Nivedan Nempe at a program organized by the ICFA in New Delhi.
