Mangaluru: JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy said the party has not submitted application before Congress for an alliance in Assembly election.
Lashing at Congress, the JD(S) leader said chief minister Siddaramaiah should stop showing his arrogance of money power and political power. “We will show our power in the assembly election.
It was Congress that knocked the doors of JD(S) seeking support during bye-poll in Gundlupet and for BBMP election. We neither came to your doors seeking Congress support, nor submitted application for the same,” Kumaraswamy said and charged that the Congress and BJP have ignored issues of development when the election is round the corner.
Indicating that the JD(S) will emerge victorious in the assembly election, Kumaraswamy said all issues in the state will be solved and people will have to wait for three more months.
“Those officials, who are dancing to the tunes of ruling party leaders, get ready for changes. A police officer has denied permission for JD(S) to hold a harmony rally in Mangaluru. Officials are working as agents of Congress and BJP,” he said and warned that they will have to face music in three months.
“Both parties are engaged in political mudslinging through communal politics using the list of Hindus and Muslims, who were killed in the state. While BJP has released the list of Hindus killed in the state, home minister Ramalinga Reddy too has released the names of Muslims died.
The statements of BJP and the ruling party leaders not in favour of social harmony,” he flayed and added that the BJP lacks leadership in Karnataka.
“BJP, which lacks able leadership in Karnataka, has invited Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for the Janasuraksha Yatre.
Do you (BJP) face shortage of able leaders or don’t you have faith in your leaders? How Yogi Adityanath, who failed to protect children in a government hospital in his own state, can protect people in Karnataka? I think all BJP leaders in Karnataka are ‘Bhogis’ (worldly persons). Hence, they are inviting ‘Yogi’ for campaign.
People have lost faith in BJP leaders, who accepted bribes in cheque,” Kumaraswamy said.
