Udupi: The district officials seized region in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj’s campaign vehicle on Wednesday March 28.

The vehicle was seized for utilizing it for campaigning without authorization. The action was initiated by group led by probationary IAS officer Poovitha.

The campaign vehicle has a party image and Pramod’s photo on it. It is asserted that the vehicle was utilized for campaigning ahead of Assembly elections without getting earlier permission. A photo of Pramod Madhwaraj was shown conspicuously on it with the message: ‘The leader who walked the talk’. ‘My step towards development, let your step be with mine’ was additionally recorded on the campaign vehicle.
